Yaquby International is a highly dynamic and well reputed trading and distribution company of fast-moving consumer goods and services in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Established in 1991, the main activities of Yaquby International are importing, trading, exclusively distributing and marketing well received consumer goods, both food and non-food including beverages, consumables, disposables and other consumer products.

Yaquby International is the exclusive distributor / agent of a number of world class and regional brands. The company enjoys an excellent reputation in the market as a purveyor of leading brands of high quality with competitive and reasonable prices.

The sales force of Yaquby International covers and services the full spectrum of the market: wholesalers, hypermarkets, supermarkets, groceries, convenience stores, self-service outlets, hotels, restaurants, cafes, institutions, Schools, Universities, factories and catering companies among others.

To lead the consumer goods and services markets in Bahrain with an efficient, fast-moving team and expand to neighboring GCC countries exploiting the increasing opportunities in the region.

John Oomen – General Manager

John is the General Manager of Yaquby International. He is primarily responsible for guiding employees towards achieving the goals and ambitions of the organization. His main job is to follow up the daily activities and to ensure the profitability and sustainability of the business. John reports directly to the board of directors and works with them in devising the strategies objectives of the firm.

John has broad experience in Senior Management positions. Before Joining Yaquby International, he was the financial controller of a local-based contracting company in Bahrain. Prior to that, John was the Chief accountant in a Multi National Contracting firm. He joined Yaquby International in 1991 as the Acting General Manager and was then promoted to General Manager position. John is a commerce graduate and has attended numerous Managerial & Financial Seminars.

Adam M Al Zaki – Administrative Manager

Mr. Al Zaki joined Yaquby International in 2000 to take on the responsibility of issues related to human resources and administrative support. He plays a central role in internal advertising and recruitment processes, designing job descriptions and following up affairs with governmental departments. As the Administrative manager, he is devoted to facilitate an inspiring and caring environment to the staff to increase the satisfaction of employees, increase the customer-base and maintain a prospering flow of business in Yaquby International.

With 12 years of experience in the business sector, Mr. Al Zaki brings along a wealth of experience, as he has contributed significantly to the success and expansion of his ex-employers' businesses. Before joining Yaquby International, he took different positions in Bahrain including treasure officer and the last position as branch manager. Prior to that Adam worked in various departments for the Ministry of Finance in Eastern Sudan. Mr. AlZaki has a bachelors degree in Business Administration from Sudan.

Ajay S - Sales and Marketing Manager

Ajay is responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities of the firm. He recruits and directs a sales team and provides leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values. Ajay establishes plans and marketing strategies to expand the customer base in the market and contributes to the development of training and educational programs for clients and account executives. Ajay has over 15 years of experience in three continents handling Administration and Sales with leading Multinationals in Food, Beverages & Dairy Industry . Ajay has a Bachelor degree in Statistics, a Masters in Marketing from Symbiosis International University. A professional certification in Six Sigma Green belt , Digital Social Media Marketing with Google Certification.

Jinu K Thomas - Chief Accountant

Jinu Thomas joined this company in 2005 as accounts Executive. Jinu has been promoted as the Chief Accountant in 2018.
